Coming across the ferry, you will see Roberts Point Park as it juts out into the Corpus Christi Ship Channel. The entrance is right by the ferry, and it’s FREE and a great place to see the channel and ships coming in! It’s also a great place to spot dolphins, so bring some binoculars for an up-close look!
The day-use park offers a pavilion and an observation tower, as well as picnic tables.
The playground is always a winner with kids!
Fishing is permitted off the jetty and the bulkhead that surrounds the park.
You can watch the ships as they enter and leave the Corpus Christi Ship Channel. You can often spot dolphins in the ship’s wake.
It’s also a fun spot to catch a glimpse of the Red Dragon Pirate Cruise! Great for families, the cruise offers fun pirate-themed activities while they sail around the bay!
You can also often spot little green sea turtles swimming around the rocks, eating the algae that grows there!
