Fulton Alley, New Orleans

One of our Thanksgiving Weekend traditions has become a family bowling night, if we happen to be able to find an alley near where we are staying!  Because bowling alleys aren’t usually tourist hot spots, it also lets us meet more of the locals!  Fulton Alley in New Orleans was incredibly convenient, located just next door to our hotel, the Hilton Riverside!  We spent a terrific evening not only bowling, but playing many of the games they offer, such as chess, scrabble and even Bocce Ball, and enjoying dinner!  One of the few places open on Thanksgiving Day, we found many other families here, also!

An upscale alley, they have a large bar and nice menu, too.
