If you’re looking for a really unique and special outing, either for a date night or family day, check out the glass blowing studio at Vetro in Downtown Grapevine! This fun studio offers visitors the chance to observe as they create amazing works of art with glass, and even assist in making your own art! They have special events throughout the year, such as ornament making in November and December and flowers for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, along with many others!
Located in Downtown Grapevine, it’s the perfect outing to combine with a fun day of window shopping! There are also plenty of great restaurants to get something to eat or a drink!
We had such a fun time assisting in making our own Christmas ornaments, from choosing the colors, to actually holding and turning the glass in the fire! The experts do all the hard work, so it’s just fun and exciting! Younger children can participate also, although they can’t do quite as much as older children and adults.

Dress in comfortable shoes and wear cotton and non-dangling clothing.
Your creation has to cool, and can be picked up the next day (or in the next 45 days), or they can ship for additional cost.
