We love patios, and it seems so does Tim Love, as many of his restaurants offer the most unique and welcoming outdoor spaces! Gemelle, his newest restaurant in Fort Worth, is something completely different for him, featuring contemporary Italian fare in a space that seems more like a resort!

Gemelle’s opened back in May, and it’s had an incredible reception since, which is no surprise since it’s another Tim Love restaurant! In a great location just off the Trinity River, you can enjoy a morning hike or bike ride on the Trinity Trails before lunch!

From the garden, to the Bocce Ball and cute cabanas, just over the levee from the Trinity River, it’s really an idealic setting!

Want to spend an afternoon with friends? You can even rent a cabana and day bed!

All this patio talk is not to take away from the food, which was freakin’ amazing! So were the drinks! The Margherita pizza was incredible, as was my pasta.

But this patio!

Rarely do I have such a cute model anymore! We loved walking through the garden, and all the blooming plants!

You know this is fun!

We did skip on the Bocce Ball, but I can only imagine that this is a fun activity in the evenings!

Yes, there is even an indoor restaurant, and on this visit in mid-August, most everyone was inside, leaving the patio empty for us! But under the shade, with a nice breeze, with good friends and cold drinks, you couldn’t beat it!
