Here’s a list of the some of the best record stores in the state, based not only on selection, but also on customer service! We go to a lot of record stores, and my husband can search for hours for something, while I WANT to be that consumed with the hunt, but in honesty I’m not and many times just get a little bored. I don’t know what I’m looking for. Which is why you need a record store that reaches out to someone like me and says LET ME HELP YOU! If I find a good store, they’ll take the time to introduce me to different music and genres. Of course, it helps to be open-minded, too. Whatever your music style or taste, I hope you find something here for you!
Ringtail Records If you’re hungry for a little vinyl in Big Bend, Ringtail Records is just about the only place to go, but luckily, they have a great assortment and even if they’re kinda pricey, the customer service makes up for it. Stop in and browse or they’ll help you find something you didn’t know you were looking for!
High Fidelity If points were being awarded just for location, High Fidelity located inside the Historic Nat on Route 66 Historical District in Amarillo would take the prize! Check out their great selection and then grab a cup of coffee at the 806 Coffee and Lounge down the street.
