Lake Lewisville Family Fun Things To Do

One of the biggest and busiest lakes in North Texas, there is always something fun to do on Lake Lewisville!  From lakeside dining to lake cruises and just fun parks to come spend the day or weekend, there is something for everyone on Lake Lewisville!

1. Marinas on the Lake

Marinas are the RV Parks of the lake, and as such, you’ll usually find something fun to do and people there having fun doing it!  Some of the best marinas on Lake Lewisville are Eagle Point Marina and Safe Harbor Pier 121.

2. Get out on the water with a boat rental  Just For Fun Watercraft Rentals has fun ski boats, jet skis, party barges, and more!

3. Dinner Cruises   Sam’s Dock has dinner cruises on select days!

4, Lewisville Fishing Barge   No boat, no problem!  The Lewisville Sharelunker Bass was caught off the Lewisville Fishing Barge.  Bring your own poles, cooler and spend a day fishing on the barge.  They sell bait and are open 24 hours.

5.  Rockin’ S Bar and Grill, Lake Lewisville  Enjoy live music, lake views and great food at this waterfront restaurant at Hidden Cove Marina!

6.  Hula Hut  You’ll love this fun waterfront restaurant on Lake Lewisville, with an erupting volcano and even a shark!

7.  Sneaky Pete’s  Dinner, drinks, live music and even a swimming pool and sand volleyball court for the kids!

8.  Parks

Little Elm Beach Park  We’ll start with the best because this an incredible park on Lake Lewisville!  Soft sand, a concessions area, picnic tables, playground, and SUP rentals.

Hidden Cove Park A huge park on Lake Lewisville with picnic tables and grills, camping, boat docks, volleyball, and a marina with rentals.  DFW surf rents paddleboards and kayaks here.

Pilot Knoll Park in Highland Village  A fun waterfront park with kayak and paddleboard rentals, swimming and overnight camping.

Stewart Creek Park , The Colony   Park with a swim beach, sand volleyball, hike and bike trail and camping.

Lake Park, Lewisville  A big park with a swim beach, boat ramps, a golf course and a disc golf course.

Westlake Park and Oakland Park are Army Corp of Engineers Park.  Admission is $4 and gets you in both parks.  A National Parks Pass or ACOE pass gives you FREE admission to all ACOE parks.   The park has a swim beach but no overnight camping.

Willow Grove Park on Lake Lewisville offers overnight camping, swimming and fishing in a quiet park.  Admission to the park is $5.

Llela  Located south of the dam, a great spot for hiking, kayaking and fishing in the Trinity River and camping.  Check their calendar for fun events.

Stay

Spend an incredible weekend on the lake at Waterfront Hideaway Ranch!  This Texas ranch on the lake has a cabin, plenty of space for the kids to play and much more!
