Hooray for Girl’s Weekends! I headed to East Texas with some of my girlfriends for a few days or R&R, with NO Husbands or KIDS, and had such a great time! On the way, we stopped off in Lindale, outside of Tyler for dinner. I knew my friend Pam, a music teacher, would love the music-inspired restaurant, and of course I love the menu, separated by Texas regions!
Texas Music City is located on Miranda Lambert Way in the Old Cannery, which use to can blackberries, and Lindale was known as the Blackberry Capital of the World, until it closed. The area is now being revitalized as an entertainment destination.
As soon as we were seated and had placed our order, we wanted to go and check out the entire restaurant, live music venue and The Pink Pistol Boutique.
The Live Music Venue has a full service restaurant, and is FREE until the band arrives, at which time a cover is charged. It’s inside, but has garage doors which are open when the weather permits.
Owned and inspired by Miranda Lambert, the Pink Pistol is a shop!
The Pink Pistol was originally in Oklahoma, but Lambert moved it to her hometown of Lindale in 2016. It carries Lambert’s own line of clothing and boots, Idyllwind. Click HERE to visit her online store to see more.
Apparently we aren’t the only ones who come to Lindale on a road trip! I love this great photo op!
We almost forgot about our food, having fun checking out all the great items and clothes!
It’s also located next door to Lambert’s Red 55 Winery.
We got back just as our food was arriving, and we all thought it was delicious. I had the chicken fried brisket, and once that food gets set down I never remember to take a picture! But go try it for yourself!
