Dead Fish Grill, Belton

I’ve been singing the praises of the Belton area, and the crystal clear waters of Stillhouse Hollow Lake and Lake Belton for years now!  The Dead Fish Grill is just one of the reasons I love this area, but when I’m really hungry, it’s my favorite!  You can’t beat the incredible views, terrific food and fun atmosphere at this restaurant overlooking Lake Belton!

The Dead Fish Grill gets it’s “best kept secret” from being a little unassuming on the front.

But look at this incredible view from inside!  Located just off the dam, you’ll see lots of boats our on the lake, which is blue and lovely due to the limestone bottom!

There are several different outside dining options.

And a huge indoor dining area!

On weekends there is live music and lots of fun.  The restaurant doesn’t have a marina or dock entrance from the lake, but these great views will keep you coming back!

The pictures I took of our brunch there Sunday were terrible, but visit their website and facebook page for some great pictures!  My husband and I both had the hand-battered chicken fried steak with a fried egg sitting on a bed of grits.  My son had a cheese burger and my other two split chicken fingers.  10 thumbs up!
