Just off I-45 in the town of Spring is a fun and funky little shopping village, Old Town Spring! With cute shops for one-of-a-kind finds and a nice selection of different restaurants, we love visiting all year long, but during Christmas it becomes a magical time, with the streets filled with carolers and the smell of wassail in the air!

All of the shops are housed in cute old buildings and homes, some dating back 100 years. The history of Old Town Spring states that the old bank was once robbed by Bonnie and Clyde, and while it may just be a legend, you can still see the old vault and bullet holes left from bank robberies at 115 Midway St.

My son loves the trackless train!

There are so many crafts and one of a kind things to buy!

The Little Dutch Girl is our favorite, and so is their Dutch Licorice! Check them out online, click HERE.

When you have a 15 year old daughter, any place that sells love potions is a must-visit!

I should have videoed this, as my 9-year-old kept trying to join in with the strolling carolers!

I love this store! It has every kind of classroom pet, fossils and any other teacher needs! Click HERE to visit their website and online store.

Santa and Mrs Clause were there for pictures! We had already seen Santa once this year, but be warned, the lines are long!

There are lots of great restaurants in Old Town, but my son loves Puffabellys Old Depot restaurant! Click HERE to visit their website and see their menu!

My daughter and I love ghost tours, which are usually more filled with history than actual ghost stories! We’ve never done the Old Town Spring Ghost Tour, but would love to hear about it if you have!
