The Tower of the Americas was built in 1968 as part of the 1968 World’s Hemisfair, and located in beautiful Hemisfair Park! It’s the second largest tower in the United States, thnks to the point at the top, behind the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas! From 750 feet in the air, you can see SO much of Downtown San Antonio, the Riverwalk and much more!
Know Before You Go
Parking: Monday – Wednesday: $8.00, Thursday – Sunday: $11.00 The Government Services Administration (GSA) lots located south of Cesar Chavez are free on weekdays after 6pm, except during special events.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed in the Tower. There is a cafe and a Starbucks at the Tower.

Skies Over Texas 4D Theater Ride
Watch a movie about Texas in a theater that moves with the show! Movie ticket is included in your admission.
Flags Over Texas Observation Deck
Two decks, one air conditioned and one filled with the breeze from 750′ in the air, give you a complete 360 degree view of the city below! Along the wall is a mural of the city landmarks to help you find them!
Bring some quarters viewing, or a pair of binoculars!
On the interior wall is a mural of the history of the 6 Flags of Texas.
Alamodome
Get a view of the Alamodome from the observation deck!
Chart House Restaurant
