This is our 3rd year to go see The Light Park, and it’s even bigger and better than ever! I absolutely love the fun, synchronized lights that “sing” to the music, and this year they even have concessions stand, all from the convenience of your car! You’ll go down row after row of Christmas Lights, all synchronized to the song on your car radio! It’s so wonderful!
And here’s a fun hint, go when it’s a little crowded! It will make the experience last a little longer.
A Drive-Thru Light Experience, The Light Park is open this season at 4 different locations state-wide, Arlington at Hurricane Harbor Parking Lot, Spring, Katy and San Antonio.
Our first visit was at the Spring location, and I just loved it! It was just my husband and myself, and we followed it up with a great dinner at nearby El Palenque. Talk about a fun date night!

Last year I took our son and our dogs to the North Texas location, which was at Lone Star Park. Our dogs loved it so much that I couldn’t wait to take them back this year! If you’re a dog mom like me, you know you like them to have as much fun as the rest of the family! My son really enjoyed it, too! For 2022, the Light Park has moved to Hurricane Harbor Parking Lot in Arlington.

Know Before You Go
Like all good light shows, the lines can get long. Stop at the restroom before you go. Be sure you have plenty of gas, pack drinks, snacks and blankets.
Tickets are sold online, and prices are per car, not per person.
You are allowed to load up in the back of a pickup truck for the drive thru, and there’s even an unloading stop at the end where everyone can get back in the car, buckle up car seats, etc.
Concessions were popcorn, lemonade in a lit-up cup, and candy. They also have some light-up toys, etc. You know the kids are going to want them so grab some off Amazon, like these great Christmas wands (Affiliate Link), surprise the kids when you get there, and save some cash!
The Arlington Radio Station is 87.9 FM. If you’re sitting in a long line to get in, you’ll want to know this.
