The 2022 Grapefest Festival runs from Thursday, September 15th to Sunday, September 18th, and it’s really a lot of fun for the entire family! From GrapeStomps to Midway Rides, great food and live music, as well as some incredible shopping, there is something for everyone!
Admission is charged at the gate, but is FREE on Thursday and Friday before 5pm.
If this is your first time in Downtown Grapevine, you’re in for a real treat! Historic Downtown Grapevine is one of the cutest Downtowns you’re likely to find, with amazing restaurants and shops along Main Street! The Palace Theater, a one-screen vintage movie theater, offers classic movies and live shows! Take a train ride with the Grapevine Vintage Railroad, watch a murder mystery at the Texas Star Murder Mystery, or make your own art at Vetro Glassblowing Studio!
The Annual Grapefest Festival held in Historic Downtown Grapevine brings in live music, shows and activities to an already bustling Main Street, making for a fun experience for the whole family!
Grapevine was founded in 1844, a year before Texas joined the United States. It was named for the abundant wild grapes that grew in the area, is now home to several outstanding vineyards and wineries
Parking
There is paid parking VERY close to the entrance, a parking garage next to the Hotel Vin (my preferred location) and FREE parking just a little ways away on Dallas. There are also FREE parking sites with complementary shuttles! The easiest is to ride the Texrail!

Lots of vendors and shops have Texas shirts, but my favorite was the Grapefest shirts for only $12 at one of the vendors near the front!

Be sure to get a WinePop at Wine Fusion Winery! I loved the Grape Sangria! Click HERE to visit their website.
There is some GREAT live music on Main Stage!

The GRAPESTOMP is $10 for a 2 person team, and you must each stomp grapes for 2 minutes! The team with the most juice stomped wins….!!!!!

They even have a KIDSTOMP!!

There are a ton of food vendors and all the regular delicious Grapevine Restaurants are open, too! Tolberts is always good.

Lots of unique vendors for one of kind gifts, too!

Grab a table around the Gazebo to enjoy the music!

Kid World
The younger kids were loving the trike course!

Legoland Discovery Center had a terrific Lego Build Area! I loved these Legos in sandboxes and swimming pools! Legoland Discovery Center DFW is located at Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine. Click HERE to read more!

Look at these amazing apples from Taylor’s Sweet Shop!

Hey, our friends at Lavender Ridge Farms are here, too! Click HERE to read more about their fun lavender farm in Gainesville, and their upcoming events!

They even have a Midway! You do need coupons for any of the Midway Rides, and the vendors with food. There are plenty of places to buy coupons all along the festival!

We spent quite a bit of time “taste-testing” these fun Belgium Chocolate Truffles at Chocolate Moonshine, one of the stores on Main Street. Click HERE to visit their website!

At Grapevine Olive Oil Company, you can taste test any of their olive oils and balsamic vinegars! Click HERE to visit their website.
