I’m all about the little oddities that make life interesting, and the Chairy Orchard boast itself as one of those things that makes life in Denton a little unique! When the homeowners in this suburban Denton neighborhood got together to put out some old chairs in a vacant lot, something wonderful happened! The Chairy Orchard was born!
The Chairy Orchard sits between two houses in a suburban neighborhood. Homeowners Judy and Ann, the chairy fairies, are the megabrains behind this quirky Orchard, and have grown a place where imagination and love bloom!
It’s a great place to bring a book or borrow one from their Little Free Library!
You can also bring a lunch and have a picnic!

Visiting the Chairy Orchard is FREE, but you can make a donation if you like. You can also add to their orchard by bringing your own unique chairies!

The Cemechairy was a new addition since our last visit, but I loved it!
The amazing thing about the Chairy Orchard is it’s so temporary! During your visit, you can rearrange EVERYTHING! Just imagine the amazing teddy bear tea parties you can have here!
The humor at the Chairy Tree is everywhere, and it’s a little contagious, so come with an open mind and lots of creativity…. and a picnic lunch!
We’ve been visiting the Chairy Orchard since our first time in 2018, and while it’s changed over the years, it’s always fun to see what’s new!

Things To Do in Denton
Play
The historic courthouse square in Downtown Denton is a fun place to spend an afternoon! We love Recycled Books, especially the books in the basement (travel books), Mad World Records, and Atomic Candy.
Eat
LSA Burger Company and a visit to Beth Marie’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor are just about mandatory!
The Juicy Pig is a yummy BBQ restaurant, with brisket just as good as their pork!
Gnome Cones is also a must when visiting Denton!
