If you’re ready for a great, family adventure, then head to Plano and Go Ape Treetop Adventure Park! Tucked in the trees of beautiful Oak Point Park, Go Ape will strap you in and send you off on an an aerial obstacle course and zip lines! Hang on, because the fun doesn’t stop there!
Go Ape is as exhilarating as it sounds, but it’s really fun for the whole family! I was terrified my first time at an adventure park, but now I love the challenge and the rush of overcoming it! Go Ape is great for families, friends and my husband and I have even done it for a day date!
You’re securely locked in, so even if you fall, you’ll just sit down, and then stand back up and keep going!
But the long zip line across Spring Creek was by far our favorite!
Pictures from this visit are from our most recent visit in December, when it was cool, but the big trees keep the course nice and shady during the warmer months, too!
Know Before You Go
Avoid shorts that are too short, to keep the harness from rubbing on your skin.
Close-toed shoes are required.
Bring your own gloves or purchase from them.
Bring a water bottle for the warmer months.
Be sure to tie up your hair if it’s long.
