If you’re looking for a great family getaway in Wichita Falls, you need to start packing, because Coyote Ranch Resort is all kinds of fun for everyone! With daily scheduled activities like hay rides and arts and crafts, as well as 3 pools, a petting zoo, mini golf and more, there’s no reason to ever leave! However, Wichita Falls has nice hikes, a state park on Lake Arrowhead, a nature center, shopping in Downtown and a nice place to stay before heading to the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma.
Our most recent visit to Coyote Ranch Resort, formerly a Jellystone Park, was in November over Thanksgiving, and we all had a blast! We’ve rented the cabins before, but this was our first camping trip in our new pop-up camper, and we loved it!
Coyote Ranch has a fun petting zoo, and that was probably our favorite thing to do! But they also have a mini-golf course, a jumping pillow, hayrides, themed weekends and activities and so much more! During the Summer, they have 3 swimming pools, a splash area and a new floating obstacle course for 2021!
