Watch a Movie Under the Stars at This Lubbock Drive In Theatre

The 3 big screens at the Stars and Stripes Drive In in Lubbock cast a bright light on the dark prairie in the evenings as visitors enjoy a movie under the stars! We’ve always loved drive in movies, much more than movie theaters really, but during this time of Covid, they have become a safer alternative to movie theaters, and still a fun way to spend an evening out with the family!

The Stars and Stripes Drive In has been one of our favorites since our first visit years ago! They have a fun playground, cute 50’s diner and attentive staff! It’s family friendly and now with Covid restrictions allowing you to bring in your own food, although we always buy some popcorn and other treats there, it’s so affordable!

Due to Covid-19, the playground and green spaces are currently closed. Orders from the 50’s Diner must be taken back to your car.

Restrooms have limited accessibility.

Cars are spaced to allow for social distancing.
