Your dino-lovin’ kids are gonna flip for this fun, new Jurassic-themed miniature golf course in Burleson!

Miniature golf has always been one of our “things”, my kids love it and our games get pretty competitive, so when Jurassic Zone in Burleson opened in August, 2020, we had to come check it out! I mean, what could be better than a fusion of miniature golf and dinosaurs?

They offer an 18-hole miniature golf course right out of the past, if dinosaurs played mini-golf!

A few Covid-19 precautions we took was wearing our mask while inside, bringing hand sanitizer and wiping down our golf club and balls. We were the only ones out playing during our visit, so we felt pretty comfortable taking off our mask while we played.
The restrooms are located inside.

They also have a nickel arcade, and all the games cost a nickel. To compensate, they do charge an admission to enter.

The first miniature golf course in the U.S. was built in 1919 in North Carolina, and they have been popular ever since!

Jurassic Zone is across the street from Burleson High School, so we were treated with listening to their marching band practice while we played.
A first for all of us, my 12-year-old won the game, in what turned in to a bit of a nail-biting conclusion as we were all about 1-2 points away and the lead kept going back and forth. I like to keep track of the final score as we play, it just makes it a little bit more competitive and fun!
When my kids were younger, it was a neat way for me to sneak in a little math, too, as they had to add up their scores as we played, and subtract to find out how many points each person was ahead or behind.
