We have been “iced” in since Sunday afternoon, and we are all feeling a fair amount of cabin fever! The weather forecast for the rest of the week, and this weekend doesn’t look terrific for “Fun in the Sun” either. We’re a little worried about it, especially since this Sunday is the 87th annual Zilker Kite Festival in Austin, something we’ve been looking forward to for 2 years after being cancelled last year due to the weather!

However, we are definitely getting out on Saturday, come rain or shine, to attend the 3rd annual Mansfield ISD Multi-Cultural Festival! The FREE INDOOR festival will showcase activities, performances, games and exhibits from around the world, most are hands-on and interactive for children and adults! My kids think it sounds like a lot of fun, and I think it sounds fun and educational, a win-win for both of us!
