Christmas at Campo Verde Mexican Restaurant and the Kulesz Light Display for Alzheimer, Dalworthington Gardens

Each Christmas Eve, we celebrate with family and friends at Campo Verde Mexican Restaurant in Arlington, their thousands of colorful Christmas lights glowing and flickering as we talk, hug and fill our bellies with chips, complimentary queso and holiday spirit!
Following our feast, we caravan down to the Kulesz Christmas Light Display, where we follow a short line of light lookers as they, and we, ooohhh and aaawwww at the amazing display!

Campo Verde takes reservations, except on Christmas Eve after 4pm.  We go every year and are still able to be seated after only a short wait.
Kids will love the model train that travels around the restaurant, crossing bridges and whistling as it goes!
As well as Mexican and Tex-Mex specialties, they also offer American food, such as cheeseburgers and chicken fried steak and exotic meat, such as buffalo fajitas and rattlesnake.

For 24 years, Arlington attorney David Kulesz has decorated his spacious home and tennis court in Dalworthington Gardens with hundreds of thousands of twinkling white lights, all in an effort to raise awareness for Alzheimers!  In recent years, the neighbors along the cul-de-sac have lit up their homes with the same white lights, making an amazing holiday spectacle!!

Last year, when we visited on Christmas Eve, there were even carolers!!
