Texas Tulips in Pilot Point is a huge tulip farm, where you can pay to spend the day among the tulips for photo ops and cut your own tulips.  Make a day out of it with a visit to nearby Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch, where you can see baby camels and even a zorse, a mix between a zebra and horse.

Tulipalooza in Waxahachie runs from March 8-17th and offers visitors the chance to come out for photo ops in the tulip fields and to cut their own tulips, along with fun festival activities such as live music, a petting zoo and children’s activities.  Your kids will love Farm Luck Soda Fountain in Downtown!

Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Texas

Texas Bluebonnet Trails, Ennis   Take a drive out to see the wildflowers along the mapped back roads around Ennis.  Two of our favorite spots are Bluebonnet Park off Hwy 287, and Meadow View Park overlooking Bardwell Lake.  Arrive early for the best pictures with the lake in the background.  Maps are available online or at the Ennis Visitors Center, and don’t miss the Ennis Bluebonnet Festival on April 19-21st.
