We’ve visited each of these patches, personally.  We’ve posed for pictures, bought pumpkins, fed farm animals, drank apple cider and even a corn-flavored soda just to bring you this list!  Have a Happy Fall!

At'l Do Farms in Lubbock Girl holding a pumpkin at a pumpkin patch

Atl Do Farms, Lubbock Sept. 11 – Nov. 6, 2021 A huge corn field maze, petting zoo, corn cannons, hay rides to the pumpkin patch and so much more! I love that they are open during the week, (closed Mondays) and late until 9pm, because not only are corn mazes a little more frightening in the dark, but it’s cooler.

Barton Hill Farms, Bastrop

Located West of Austin in Bastrop, you’ll love this fun pumpkin patch, with a corn maze, games and much more right on the shores of the Colorado River!  The farm opens for the Fall on September 25th!

Mainstay Farm, Cleburne

One of my very favorites, I love the big farm, with a hay barn where kids can jump and play, zip lines and the best 3 story treehouse ever!  Bring a book and just let the kids run and play in the fresh air, or better yet, let the farm help you feel like a kid again!  The fun begins on September 24th!

The Dallas Arboretum’s Pumpkin Village

You won’t find more pumpkin anywhere in Texas than at the Dallas Arboretum, where even the buildings are made out of them!  Using over 90,000 Pumpkins, they have a different theme each year, and for 2021 is Bugtopia, with an all new location in the garden, too! Admission gets you into the Arboretum, and just a little more to make a day of it and explore the Children’s Adventure Garden, too!  Autumn in the Arboretum opens on September 18th!

Sweet Berry Farm, Marble Falls

This fun berry patch and peach orchard does an overhaul each fall to a pumpkin patch and terrific corn maze with all the games and events you come to expect at a Pumpkin Patch!  We love the Make and Take Scarecrow, and horse rides! Sweet Berry Farms opens on September 4th, and is open daily except Wednesdays!

Yesterland Farm, Canton

Yesterland Farm has a great pumpkin patch, but why my son looks so distraught is there is SO much more, and he’s through taking pictures, he wants to go play!  Rides, corn maze and best of all, apple cannons!  If you’ve never shot an apple cannon, and watched the apple turn to sauce on impact, your life just isn’t complete!  Yesterland Farm opens on September 18th for the 2021 Season!

Lone Star Family Farm, Stephenville

As Pumpkin Patches go, Lone Star wins for actually growing their own Pumpkins!  In addition to all the standard farm games, they have a huge, 7 acre corn maze that is open late Friday and Saturday nights, for a completely different experience in the maze!  The farm opens on September 25th!

Hall’s Pumpkin Patch, Grapevine

Hall’s Pumpkin Patch is a yearly favorite in DFW, with tons of cute pumpkin photo ops and games! We love that the hayride stops to allow you to feed the donkeys and cows! Hall’s opens on Oct. 1st for the 2021 season!

Preston Trail Farms’ Big Orange Pumpkin Farm, Gunther

This working farm, North of Frisco on Preston Road, is attached to a True Value Hardware Store and Cafe!  The Farm offers tons of pumpkins, hay rides and lots of farm animals!  We made the long drive one Sunday because my kids were thrilled that it was a farm that allows well-behaved dogs, and we could take our pup, Dublin, who loved all the farm animals!  The pumpkins arrive on September 25th!

The Robinson Family Farm, Temple

This big farm in Temple, North of Georgetown and South of Waco, has plenty to do to spend a day on the farm!  Feed the goats, take a hay ride, find your way out of the corn maze and more, but our hands-down favorite is the sandbox filled with corn kernels, it’s something you just have to experience to really appreciate!  The fun starts on September 18th!

Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm, Midlothian

Shadow Creek offers hay rides, a corn maze and fun games!  As the name suggest, they are set under a large canopy of trees, making it a perfect way to spend a warm Fall day in Texas! Shadow Creek opens weekends on October 2nd.
