10 Amazing Holiday Events in North Texas

We started playing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Jingle Bells, so you know the holidays can’t be more than 3-4 months away!  There are so many things to do and see in the few short weeks of December, and it’s never too early to start planning for the events you just can’t miss!

1. Enchant Christmas at Globe Life Park, Arlington  

Enjoy the lights in the World’s Largest Light Maze, as well as an Artisan Market, an ice skating trail, seasonal food and beverage and a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Claus!  This is a beautiful event that is open during the week.  Plan to come during the week, when crowds are lighter.  Click HERE for more information.

Panther Island Ice at Coyote Drive In, Fort Worth   Visit during the day or include your ice skating in with a new release or holiday movie at the Drive In!  Bring blankets and cuddle up outside under the stars with a cup of hot chocolate to watch a movie!  Click HERE for more information.

Skating Rink at the Galleria, Dallas    We absolutely love a visit to the Dallas Galleria each December when the Christmas Tree is lit up and skaters can make their way around the beautiful tree!  Click HERE for more information.

Christmas in the Square at Frisco Square, Frisco   The square is lit with the largest choreographed light show in North Texas, and skaters can skate on the outdoor rink.  Click HERE for more information.

2.  Holiday Parades

Fort Worth Parade of Lights Nov. 18th 6pm   Arrive early for this fun Christmas parade that lights up Downtown Fort Worth!  Click HERE for more information.

Dallas Holiday Parade Dec. 1, 10am  Previously the Dallas Children’s Parade, this is the largest holiday parade in North Texas!  Click HERE for more information.

37th Annual Parade of Lights, Grapevine Dec. 6   7pm   Grapevine is known as the Christmas Capital of Texas, and the annual parade kicks off the season! Go early and enjoy dinner in Historic Downtown, and browsing the shops!  Click HERE for more information.

Whistle Stop Christmas Parade, Cleburne  Dec. 7  6:30pm   This fun lighted parade in Cleburne offers visitors a great experience without the crowds at the bigger parades!  Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll around Hulen Park, lit up with 3 1/2 million Christmas lights!   Click HERE for more information.

Holiday Lights Parade, Arlington  December 8 6pm   Watch this fun parade with the lighting of the Downtown Christmas tree as a finale, followed by visits with Santa Claus!  Click HERE for more information.

3.  Prairie Lights, Grand Prairie  The best of the drive-though Christmas lights exhibits, Prairie Lights dazzles the holiday season!  Click HERE for more information.
