My daughter and I have just returned from her 3 day 4th grade field study trip to Austin and San Antonio. We visited the Witte Museum in San Antonio, which is one of my very favorites. Here’s why…
Know Before You Go
The Witte is FREE to the public every Tuesday from 3 to 8pm.
Free parking is available in the Brackenridge Park Parking Garage on Avenue B.
The Witte Museum has been open to the public since 1926.
The Witte has a unique feel to it, unlike most museums.
The Witte sits on the shores of the beautiful San Antonio River in Brackenridge Park.
